Dimsport MG1US008 Update: GWM, Chery, Omoda, MG Tuning

Dimsport Updates Bosch MG1US008 Setting Files (GWM, Chery, Omoda, Changan, MG)

Dimsport has updated its setting files for the Bosch MG1US008 ECU, sharpening RACE’s calibration references for the latest-generation turbocharged petrol engines fitted across a wide range of Asian-market vehicles now sold in Australia.

What changed

The update refreshes the setting files for the Bosch MG1US008 ECU, giving calibration professionals more complete and detailed references for building accurate modifications across the engine’s turbocharged variants.

Key detail for workshops: updated setting files across the 1.4L, 1.5L, 1.6L and 2.0L Bosch MG1US008 turbo-petrol variants — more accurate reference data for the same ECU family, not a new connection method.

Which vehicles are covered

The Bosch MG1US008 ECU spans a wide range of saloons, SUVs and pick-ups. Applications named in the update include:

  • GWM Haval H6 2.0L Turbo (155 kW and 167 kW)
  • Chery Tiggo 8 1.6L TGDI (137 kW)
  • Omoda 5 1.6L TGI (108 kW)
  • Changan CS35 Plus 1.4L Turbo (118 kW)
  • SAIC MG5 1.5L Turbo (126 kW)

Why it matters here

GWM, Chery, Omoda, Changan and MG have all grown quickly in the Australian market over the past few years, and this ECU family sits across a big chunk of that lineup. Sharper calibration reference data means more consistent, accurate tunes on a segment that’s only getting bigger locally.
